On his first solo recording, Round Dance the Night Away, Randy Wood showcased his artistry and songmaking skills by singing his original round dance songs. This recording received a GRAMMY nomination for Best Native American Album at the 2003 GRAMMY Awards. He was also nominated for Best Male Artist at the 2003 JUNO Awards. In 2003 he released his highly anticipated follow up recording, Round Dance Blues. In 2004 he released There Are No Goodbyes an album dedicated to his wife, Jetta. His 2006 Our Love Will Never Die was nominated for a GRAMMY for Best Native American Album. His intimate vocals and creative songs illustrate the richness of his voice while he sings of the eternal search for friendship and love. Originally from Saddle Lake First Nation, Alberta, Canada, Wood is recognized throughout North America for his singing and songmaking talents.
